ADES is a charitable non-profit organisation. With the help of the organisation for the protection of the climate myclimate, it is registered as a project to protect the climate under the “Gold Standard VER”. Your donations for ADES are tax-deductible.
Designated USE
We depend on your donation to be able to sell the solar cookers and energy saving ovens to the people in Madagascar at a fair price. With your donations you also support the development of ADES as well as the construction of more workshops and centres for renewable energy.
There are various ways of supporting ADES:
Donations for the production of solar cookers
• Your donation of CHF 60.- pays for one solar cooker. Production costs in Madagascar come to about CHF 100.- at the moment; and the cookers are sold for CHF 40.-
• Your donation of CHF 120.- pays for two solar cookers for an extended family.
Donations for the production and distribution of solar cookers
• Your donation of CHF 150.- pays for the production and distribution of one solar cooker. Costs for transport, cooking demonstrations and general operating costs amount to an average of CHF 90.-.
Donations for environment classes and teaching materials
• Your donation of CHF 50.- pays for the teaching materials on sustainable cooking and environmental learning for one class of schoolchildren.
Financing of wages
• Your donation of CHF 160.- pays one month’s wages for a craftsman.
Contributions to investments
• ADES has planned workshops in more villages in the south of Madagascar. For the furnishing of the workshops, for tools, and means of transport more funds are necessary. Currently we need a vehicle for our new centre in Morombe.
